Aldi's weekday opening hours are changing again from today - here's all the details

Aldi has announced it is operating its normal opening hours once again from today.

The supermarket had previously decided to shut two hours early in order to allow staff to restock shelves throughout the week amid stockpiling.

But as panic-buying subsides Aldi has began to reduce restrictions previously put in place.

This started by lifting limits on products per customer and from today Aldi's normal opening hours Monday to Saturday will be re-introduced.

Aldi told us: "From Tuesday April 14, we will be extending our opening hours in almost all of our stores so you can shop until 10pm Monday to Saturday, when our stores are quieter.

"Normal Sunday opening hours remain in place."

The supermarket also advised people to visit the store throughout the day rather than first thing in the morning.

"Our shelves are now well stocked throughout the day, so there is no need to visit stores first thing in the morning," Aldi added.

Stores will now be open 8am to 10pm, having previously been open 8am to 8pm.

Priority slots for the elderly, vulnerable and emergency service workers remain in place.

Monday to Saturday stores will open 30 minutes early for elderly and vulnerable.

While stores open half an hour early on Sunday for emergency workers where applicable.
