Aldi's showstopping two metre long pig in blanket finally launches in stores today, just in time for Christmas.
The supermarket claims the meat masterpiece to be the longest pig in blanket sold in the UK, and we can't find anyone selling one for a similar size elsewhere.
Measuring in at a whopping 6 foot 5 inches, there will certainly be no festive fights over who deserves the last one.
And even better... it will only set you back £4.99, meaning you can get two whole metres of pure pork for under a fiver.
Not convinced of its size? The hefty piece of meat is apparently the same height as a basketball player.
Forget the boring turkey and overrated Yorkshire puddings, we all know the real star of the show when it comes to Christmas dinner is the pigs in blankets.
And things just got ten times better for pork fans, as Aldi has just announced that this year, they'll be selling a giant, two-metre long pig in blanket for the big day.
But Aldi aren't the only ones supersizing their pigs in blankets this year, with Lidl having announced that their 2019 Christmas offerings will include a yard long pigs in blanket - half the size of Aldi's - as well as a 1.2kg 'Feast in blanket', which is essentially an entire Christmas dinner (including sprouts), wrapped up in bacon. De-lish.
Despite its bargain £5 price tag, Aldi has assured us that all the meat involved in the two metre long pig in blanket is fully Red Tractor approved, meaning it's all traceable, safe and farmed with care.
