Aldi’s SpecialBuy velvet shell chair almost identical to Oliver Bonas version but £285 cheaper

Budget supermarket Aldi has released a pink velvet armchair that looks similar to a designer version - but for much less.

Aldi is well known for offering a wide variety of products, from food and drink to garden furniture, toys, skincare items and more.

It’s SpecialBuy range is unrivalled, with shoppers desperately waiting each Thursday and Sunday to see what they can get their hands on.

This time around, the bargain retailer has released its Shell Accent Chair - and it looks almost identical to one currently available from designer brand Oliver Bonas but for £285 cheaper.

Aldi’s chair , which is an online exclusive, features a contemporary design with gold legs and a shell shape. It is priced at £109.99.

The chair is available in navy, pink and grey.

The alternative version is by designer brand Oliver Bonas and is priced at £395.

The Flora Scalloped Velvet Armchair from Oliver Bonas features a similar shell-shaped design and gold legs.

According to the product descriptions, Aldi’s chair is slightly smaller in size. The Olvier Bonas chair is also scalloped at the front, while the Aldi chair is not.

The design sold by Oliver Bonas is priced at £395, while Aldi’s version comes in at £109.99.
