Budget supermarket Aldi has confirmed the news its fans have been waiting for - its much-loved velvet scalloped chair is coming back.
Originally released back in March 2020, the chair caught the attention of thousands of shoppers after they spotted it looked practically identical to a designer one but for £315 less.
The chair has a wooden frame and is covered with a velvet fabric - and it comes in a choice of three colours; navy, blush pink or grey.
Priced at £79.99, Aldi's velvet chair is £315.01 less than one sold by designer brand Oliver Bonas and the two are practically identical.
The chair is now listed for pre-order once again on the Aldi website, though this time it is exclusively available online.
Shoppers who managed to get hold of a chair when it was previously released gave it five star reviews online.
One said: “Gorgeous chair! Best thing I’ve ever bought from Aldi! Easy to assemble. Colour is stunning”.
Another wrote: “Great value for money absolutely beautiful chair and so easy to assemble.”
A third reviewer added: “Been trying for ages to buy one of these chairs but they always sold out. Totally worth the wait!! The colour is gorgeous. So comfortable. Wish I had room for more of them.”
