Aldi’s sell-out halloumi fries are FINALLY back in store

Aldi's iconic halloumi fries are back - and people are getting excited. Not least the supermarket itself.

"Specially Selected Halloumi Fries, £2.29 (190g) available to buy in-store from 8 April. We repeat this is NOT a drill," Aldi said.

Aldi was the first supermarket to launch the item, and now they're back in store - although costing 30p a pack more than last time.

The last time they went on sale, Aldi's halloumi fries were constantly selling out in stores all over the nation.

So popular were they, the budget German supermarket was forced to officially limit the number of packs it would sell to one person following a mass surge in sales after their release last summer .

Aldi shoppers reveal their 54 favourite products - and the items they hate

Aldi's offering is inspired by a similar product on sale at Nando’s.

The budget supermarket describes its Specially Selected Halloumi Fries as "made with scrumptiously soft - and salty - halloumi cheese from Cyprus and a lightly seasoned coating making them the perfect side or snack for sharing".

"So, get the sauce ready, start dipping and say  hallou  to halloumi heaven!" the supermearket added.
