Aldi's secret bargain hour that sees food being reduced by 50 per cent

Any shoppers who like a bargain will love to shop at Aldi.

People who enjoy grabbing a bargain will see themselves being pulled to the massive supermarket chain instantly.

But according to the Manchester Evening News, the supermarket has a 'bargain hour', when it reduces the food which is about to expire by 50 per cent.

You would be forgiven for thinking that the best time to pop to Aldi for these half off products is at the end of the day.

But that's not always the case.

Several shoppers have reported finding items with 50 per cent off labels at opening time - which is 7am for many stores across the country.

However, it does vary from store to store, so you're best contacting your local branch if you want to find out the best time to go to get your hands on these stickered items.

Speaking about the reduction hour, a spokesperson for Aldi said: "All items are reduced to 50 per cent of the recommend sales price before stores open on their best before or use by dates."
