Aldi launch new Valentine's Day candles that cost £40 less than Jo Malone ones

Candle fans, rejoice. Aldi has released a brand new candle range for Valentine's Day - and it starts from just £4.99.

The budget supermarket's new Valentine's collection include a "Red Roses" candle, which is inspired by the Jo Malone equivalent, only it costs £40 less and burns for 15 hours longer.

The sell-out candle is strikingly similar to Jo Malone’s Red Roses Home Candle - both featuring the scent of freshly cut roses - but costs only £9.99.

Aldi’s budget-version has just landed in stores and online, just in time for Valentine’s Day.

The Centrepiece Candle is also offered in another delicate floral fragrance: Paris Blossoms.

Shoppers can also pick up giant reed diffusers in the Red Roses and Paris Blossom scents - perfect for making your romantic celebrations that extra bit special.

We've had a look online and Aldi is selling the Red Roses Candle and matching diffuser as a set for £19.98. Beautifully presented, the duo is bound to add some ambience and sophistication to your V-Day night.

The Paris Blossoms Candle and matching diffuser is also available online for £19.98.

If all that isn't enough, Aldi has also launched a "Scentscerity LED Light Up Candle" for £4.99.

New for 2022, the light-up candle comes in a glamourous rose gold or deep red hue and is the ideal gift for those wanting something different to the traditional flowers and chocolates this Valentine’s Day. Both candles are also offered in duo sets for £9.98, in stores and online.

Simply pop them on your mantelpiece or coffee table to add soft flickering light and allow the relaxing fragrance to fill your space.

What’s more, customers can snap up the discounter's "Hotel Collection Votive Candle Gift Set" for £4.99, which includes two romantic red votives and 12 tealights in either red rose or peony.

Aldi's new Valentine's candle range is available online and in stores nationwide. To find out your nearest branch, you can use the retailer's store finder here. Opening and closing time information for each store is listed there as well.

In case you haven't heard, Aldi is currently selling the cheapest supermarket dozen red roses for Valentine's Day at £3.99. How good is that?

You can always count on the famous budget store for a good bargain and its price-friendly roses are just that.

V-Day shoppers can also pick up Aldi's new Ballycastle Red Velvet Cream Liqueur from February 11, just in time for the big day.

A moreish blend of double cream and red velvet flavours, the liqueur saves customers a whopping 67% compared to Baileys.
