A new version of Aldi's popular egg chair is set to go on sale and sounds worth customers hanging around for.
The store is tempting shoppers with news that a bigger version of its hanging egg chair - which proved a sell-out hit in the spring - will be on sale in time to enjoy the best of the summer.
Compared with the solo chair the new version will be altogether bigger and better, being able to accommodate two people.
With the prospect of warmer weather here to stay, the budget store is sure the new swinging chair will be a big hit with people wanting to cosy-up in the sun.
The chair has a larger seat but otherwise looks just like Aldi 's original, featuring a rattan design with grey cushions and a steel frame, reports the Mirror.
It comes with a three-year warranty but also a bigger price tag: £249.99 compared to £149 for the smaller version.
And it is due to go on sale online from Sunday, July 6.
It will be available only on the Aldi website so will not be found in its stores.
The Specialbuy seat is suitable for indoor use too.
The hanging egg chair first went on sale at Aldi last year, when it was snapped up by shoppers as they went into lockdown, so the company, which called it a "cult Aldi favourite", brought it back this year.
It even launched a cat-size version for £34.99.
Other summer buys available at the store include an 'outdoor kitchen' featuring six burners, two grills, a sink and storage; bedding with cooling technology and its own version of the Japanese-inspired ice cream Little Moons which proved a hit with millions of people on video-sharing app TikTok.
It also has a budget BBQ, and ice cream maker and, for football fans all set for the Euros - England, Wales and Scotland shirts.
