It’s fast-approaching that time of year when the hunt for the perfect indoor clothes dryer begins.
As temperatures cool and the chances of getting a washing dried on the line without it getting soaked in a flash downpour increase, many people across Scotland will be dusting off the trusty clothes horse.
Heated indoor clothes dryers caused quite a storm last year with shoppers snapping them up at Aldi, Argos, Lidl and Wowcher.
And if the budget one you bought from last year still works, it’s probably going to see a fair bit of usage over the coming weeks, if the forecast is anything to go by,
But most airers, heated or traditional, take up quite a bit of room so if you’re looking for something leaning more towards space-saving, the latest Specialbuy from Aldi may be just what you’re after.
The supermarket is selling a clothes airer that can be hung on doors and is perfect for those with small spaces.
The Addis Over Door Airer costs £9.99 and has seven rails to hand your clothing on.
It measures a compact 91cm x 41cm x 4cm, making it ideal for all your washing - you could probably drape bedding over the top too.
The description on the Aldi website states: "We don't all have a spare room or an area downstairs dedicated to drying our washing, and we certainly can't always rely on the weather for drying our clothes outside on the line.
