Aldi shoppers have decided to embrace the summer by wearing the stores 'must have' fashion accessory with pride.
The store has a range of every day deals that keep shoppers coming back but this item is sure to test who are the most loyal Aldi fans.
A pair of Sliders that feature the familiar blue colours and recognisable logo has been spotted by lots of shoppers who are stocking up on the sandals for family and friends.
The slider style has seen a jump in popularity after receiving a luxury makeover from some of the world biggest fashion brands - so you could say that it's only right that one of the UK's best-loved stores jump on-trend.
On Facebook, a post has gathered more than 150 comments from people who have mocked, joked and seriously added the item to their shopping lists, with one saying she bought them for her kids Christmas stockings.
The original post said: "Aldi sliders why not haha only £3.99 a pair."
And it was followed by a comment that said: "I'd get some for sure"
Another person said: "Got to have a pair!"
One person joked with family and said: "Mum thought you'd like these for your holidays"
Another person said: "See they’re selling like hot cakes lol"
Amongst the laughing emojis was a comment from someone who wanted a matching pair with friends and another from a mum whose kids wanted a pair each.
However, not everyone was on board with the idea with one comment saying: 'No thanks you'd have to kill me to put them on my feet"
Another person mocked the shoes by comparing them to Crocs that have a controversial place in the fashion world and said: "Oh god thought crocs was bad"
For some shoppers, it was the obvious branding that struck a nerve and one person said: "Did they really have to stamp ALDI in them though"
These Aldimania - yes, that's their name - products will be available both online and in-store.
The limited-edition Aldimania Sliders cost £3.99 and boast a navy design and are emblazoned with Aldi’s logo on the strap.
They are available in sizes 4 – 10 for both men and women and can be bought online from Sunday, June 27, and in-store a week later on July 4.
