Aldi's much sought after faux stone fire pit set to fly off store shelves later this month

There are those rare occasions where an item shows up in the mysterious middle-aisle in Aldi that become the must-have item that week or month.

Most recently, it was the faux stone fire pit that sent shoppers crazy.

With summer finally here, Aldi has been making sure they have all the summer essentials ready to go.

Earlier this week the German retailer announced that their fire pit would be making a return to Irish stores for just €59.99.

Enjoy the warmth of a wood fire in your garden this month, not that you'll need it with temperatures set to hit the mid-20s this weekend.

The fire pit was on sale last year to much fanfare. Shoppers queued as early as 5am at their local store to get their hands on one.

The fire pit is very light due to being made of faux stone and is easy to assemble. It includes a black high-temperature fire bowl and a chrome cooking grill.

The fire pit and accessories will be hitting store shelves on June 20.
