Aldi’s candles and diffusers have become cult favourites and now fans will be delighted to hear that the budget supermarket has relaunched their hit range of Jo Malone-inspired super-sized candles for Christmas.
The German supermarket chain, whose copycat versions of the luxury retailer’s famous scented candles have won them nationwide praise - and it may be something to do with the £24.99 price tag - meaning they’re £305 less than Jo Malone’s luxury super-sized candle.
The Hurricane 2.4kg Candles are in stores now, and they’ll be available to buy online from 2nd December - but, like previous years, these homeware essentials are bound to sell-out, so make sure to mark the date in your diaries.

And, it’s not just the price that’s impressed us. Compared to the luxury £300 2.5kg version which boasts a burning time of 220 hours, Aldi’s budget replica says it burns for 270 hours - so not only is it significantly cheaper, but it lasts longer too!
Aldi’s Hotel Collection Hurricane Candles come in four scents, Lime, Basil & Mandarin, Pomegranate, Sweet Almond and Macaroon which mirror Jo Malone's bestsellers. And this year, shoppers can also get their hands on the seasonal winter scent Velvety Rose.
Each candle comes encased in a contemporary glass jar design - complete with a silver finish, replicating the £330 premium Jo Malone versions available to buy at John Lewis and Selfridges.
In March 2017, Aldi launched a range of £3.99 candles in three of the same unique scents as Jo Malone’s, the luxury label’s 200g candles costing £44 each.
The selection of pomegranate noir, freesia and pear and lime basil and mandarin not only had the same names as the exclusive brand, but also had similar packaging of a clear glass holder with white wax and two candle wicks.
Looking for a secret Santa gift or the perfect gift for mum? Aldi has also launched its Hotel Collection Candle Gift Set, which includes three 250g candles for just £8.99. The scents include Bitter Orange, Pine & Eucalyptus and Sweet Almond , which each have a burn time of up to 40 hours and replicate Jo Malone’s luxury design.
