Aldi’s fresh British Turkey Crowns are on sale now - and you can get yours for just £8.99

Ok, so we know Christmas is still 65 days away (not like we’re counting or anything), but with the rumours surrounding Turkey shortages this year, it may be best to stock up on the Christmas staple early.

It seems like Aldi is one step ahead as the supermarket has already launched its Fresh British Red Tractor Assured Turkey Crown between 0.9 and 4kg, priced at £8.99 per kilogram in store.

Think succulent, tender British meat with a crispy skin and succulent juicy flavours - ooft, our mouths are already watering at the thought.

The turkeys will not stay fresh until Christmas but Aldi says you can freeze the turkey to keep it fresh for the big day.

The supermarkets full Turkey range will be available from 19 December 2021 (Aldi)

Aldi has already launched its frozen turkey range which includes succulent, Small British Turkey Crown (£11.49, 1.5–1.9kg), a Large Whole British Turkey (£17.49, 5.4-7.2kg) or an Oakhurst Cook From Frozen Turkey Breast Joint (£4.49, 800g) which you can buy online now.

Shoppers who don’t yet have room in their freezer can hold out for Aldi’s full range of Fresh British Turkeys, which will be in stores from Sunday 19th December - so make sure to pop that date in your diary.

To complete your roast dinner prep, shoppers can add the indulgent Specially Selected Goose Fat Roast Potatoes (£1,59, 1kg) , gourmet Specially Selected Balsamic Chargrilled Sprouts With Pine Nuts (£1,69, 400g) and Specially Selected 6 Beef Dripping Large Yorkshire Puddings (£1.49, 6 pack) to their baskets.

Turkey’s aren’t the only festive things on offer at Aldi. From hampers and curated gifts to decorations and toys, it’s the perfect opportunity to get your Christmas shopping done early. Plus, it’s great if you’re on a tighter budget this year.

For the beauty lovers out there, Aldi is even launching its very first luxury advent calendar - and we can’t wait to get our hands on it.

Many retailers have started revealing their impressive calendars for Christmas 2021, however many come with a pretty hefty price tag.

So, Aldi's calendar which comes in at just £54.99 and is packed full of twenty four iconic cruelty-free products including cult favourites from the Lacura range is a real bargain.

From dermatologically tested skin care and sought-after perfumes to a pillow sleep spray, this dreamy Christmas countdown is available to pre-order online from the 24th October and available in stores on 28th October, while stocks last.
