Budget supermarket Aldi has shoppers obsessed with one item in particular this week - and they say it’s “better than Baileys”.
Aldi is well known for its SpecialBuys, which have been known to include everything from homeware to gym equipment but the one item standing out is its Specially Selected Irish Cream, priced at £9.99.
The litre bottle, which is available online and in store, is described as a “luxurious” Irish double cream liqueur.
According to the product description, it is “a blend of fresh double cream, spirit and Irish whiskey”.
The Specially Selected Irish Cream has already received more than 20 five star reviews, with many claiming the drink is “better than Baileys”.
On Aldi’s website, one shopper wrote: “Irish cream at its best. Smooth, creamy and premium quality. Not sickly like some Irish creams.”
Another said: “Great Drink. This drink is really great if you like Baileys. Great Price too.”

A third shopper wrote: “As nice if not better than Baileys and good value. And I love Baileys and prefer all Aldi's flavoured varieties better than the branded varieties. I Definitely will be buying more from Aldi”.
