A first-time mum has shared a picture of an Aldi children's plate she picked up for £6.99 and parents are desperate to get their hands on their own.
Bettina Szelpal bought the green dinosaur-shaped plate for her son Benjamin and posted a picture of it in the Aldi Shoppers UK Facebook group with the caption: "My little one loves his new dinosaur plate from Aldi."
The 31-year-old told the ECHO: "I bought this plate at Aldi for £6.99, my son Benjamin loves it, he is 17 months old and passing the stage when he was throwing everything on the floor.
"The plate is non-slip only and not suction, so I wouldn't recommend for babies who still throw everything on the floor. Benjamin liked the shape and the colour of this dinosaur and actually, he could use the spoon easier as it has a higher edge, he still learning it though."
The original post attracted more than 300 reactions and 140 comments with many parents saying they needed to get hold of one and tagging friends to see if they would pick one up if they saw them in store.
One mum wrote: "If anyone else sees them, I will happily pay them and the postage. They don't have them in mine and my son would love it."
A second tagged her friend and said: "Keep your eyes out for these."
A third parent wrote: "Omg. I need to go to Aldi."

Earlier this week, shoppers were loving Aldi's 'adorable' own-brand SpecialBuy jumpers, pyjamas and underwear.
The budget retailer known for its popular SpecialBuy items released its own clothing line - aptly titled - Aldimania, on Sunday, April 25.
