Shoppers will get a second chance to get their hands on Kevin the Carrot this weekend.
The popular Aldi Christmas character has built up a huge cult following over recent years, with people joining long queues at shops and online to get hold of the beloved soft toys.
Last year, chaos was reported in some shops as people rushed to get hold of the must-have gift.
The cute carrot themed pyjamas, gifts, and especially, the giant Kevin soft toy, quickly sold out when they were advertised for sale on the Aldi website in November.
The discount supermarket had to use online queueing technology, like that used when popular festival tickets are released, to manage demand, and customers were restricted to a maximum of two of each variant in order to ensure everyone gets a chance to enjoy Kevin this Christmas.
A notice on the Aldi website promises customers that the toys are "coming soon".
"Our Kevin and family plush toys are back. In store from 6 Dec[ember]", the poster says.
When furious shoppers complained of the long online waits on Twitter when the toys were released, Aldi spokespeople reminded them: "Please note, our Kevin the Carrot range will be available in all stores on the 6th December. Please visit your local store on this date to purchase on a first come, first served basis."
As with all special buys, stocks are limited.
This year's range includes Kevin wearing a kilt, Kevin wearing a Christmas jumper, Kevin mugs and books, and plush toys of all Kevin's various friends and family.
However, the in-store offering won't include won’t include the Kevin & Friends or Kevin, Katie & Kids Plush Bundle as these were offered as online exclusives.
But if your child is demanding some Kevin merchandise this Christmas, might still have the opportunity to make their wish come true.
