Aldi reveals why one of its Nottingham stores is closed until later this week

Aldi has revealed why one of its Nottingham stores will remain closed until later this week.

The supermarket on Daleside Road in the city is currently shut to shoppers.

The store, which will reopen on February 18, is undergoing refurbishment works which is the reason for the closure.

There will be a new layout in the store upon its reopening, according to the supermarket giant.

It is usually open from 8am until 10pm in East Point Retail Park which also houses a Poundland, Costa Coffee and Smyth's toy store.

An Aldi spokesperson said: “Our Daleside Road store is currently closed while we carry out refurbishment works.

“When we reopen on Thursday 18 February the store will be in our new layout, which will be much brighter with wider aisles, while also ensuring more space for fresh, chilled and food-to-go ranges.”
