Supermarket Aldi is always popular at Christmas and now you can get a wicker hamper of festive treats, already being snapped up on pre-orders.
Aldi has branches in Newcastle , Gateshead, Wallsend, Hebburn, Washington, North Shields, South Shields, Whitley Bay , Chester le Street, Sunderland, Ashington, Cramlington, Blyth, Durham, Consett and Stanley.
This year they have created seven Christmas hampers ranging in price from an alcohol-free gift box at £19.99 to a bumper Exquisite hamper at £99.99. They will be delivered from November 13.
Five come in traditional wicker baskets and two in classy black beribboned boxes. The £34.99 Festive Treats hamper contains eight products including a chocolate and salted caramel bombe, clotted cream fudge, coffee, honey, crackers, cranberry sauce, chocolate, biscuits and a bottle of Argentinian Malbec red wine.
Another of the wicker hampers contains beauty products, prosecco and a large scented candle. The company is taking pre-orders now online. They say: "We apologies if selected items may sell out on the first day due to unexpected high demand."
