Aldi has released a new kitchenware product that customers are already declaring the "best purchase of Christmas".
The budget chain's new Ambiano Twin Pie Maker has been a hit with fans, with some revealing that they've used the device to make other types of food such as eggs.
The pie maker consists of a double pan that can make up to two pies at once, as reported by MyLondon.

It also comes with On and Ready indicator lights for easy use and a base and lid cutter for creating perfectly sized pies.
Since being released, Aldi shoppers have rushed to share their enthusiasm for the pie maker, calling it it "essential" and "easy to use".
One satisfied customer said: “A great way to make a small quantity of pies. All fillings need to be pre cooked, so it is ideal to use up bits of leftover stew etc. I used shop bought ready rolled pastry, cutting out as many tops & bottoms as possible, and opened the unused ones for future use.
“Nicely cooked pies in about 6 minutes, so it’s possible to make several in a short time & freeze for later.”
Another stated: “Easy to use and quite quick to cook your pies, you can add any ingredients you like.”
A third simply put: “This is a neat, easy to clean for the price bargain.”
From the reviews of the twin pie-maker it is clear that it is a favourite amongst those that have already got their hands on the machine.

Although it is marketed as a pie-maker, one nifty reviewer actually recommended that it wasn’t just pies that the machine was good at making.
They said: “I read online that this can be used for cooking healthy and tasty eggs, so I bought it to try. In effect, we eat fantastic eggs for breakfast! It has become an essential in my kitchen.”
