A supermarket giant has hailed a Scot's cafe's inventive name as 'genius'.
An Italian cafe located around the back of Airdrie's Aldi store is going viral- with the name Bacchialdi's.
The well-rated take-away enjoys five star reviews online and is renowned for its customer service and delicious cakes.
Becky Brynolf tweeted bringing the cafe to the attention of the German giant.
She wrote: "I want you all to know that round the back of an Aldi in Airdrie there is an Italian cafe called Bacchialdi's."
Becky's tweet went viral with more than 20,000 likes and nearly 3,000 retweets.
And now Aldi UK has waded in, branding the Lanarkshire firm's name as 'genius'.
Alid Uk replied in a quote tweet: "Not even mad. Genius x"
The cafe has since responded to the online storm, writing on their Facebook page: "We did have to promise never to make a caterpillar cake though."
Online locals had a laugh about the name.
One wrote: "It's just a lidli restaurant."
Another wrote: "I love this, only in Airdrie!"
Bacchialdi's isn't the first inventive business name in Airdrie, with another shop in the town which sells ice cream is called 'Coney no dae that'.
A child-friendly cafe in Airdrie is called 'Weanz world'.
Further afield and for musicians on the west coast there is 'Ayr Guitar'
Glasgow is home to several funny and punny shop names.
A firm selling white goods is known as 'Selfridges' (get it) and a pet grooming service is called 'Captain Dugwash'.
'Florist Gump' is a place to buy flowers in Scotland's biggest city and a slightly rude place to buy home wares is 'Sofa King Cheap'.
And, not to be confused with the Welsh power ballad star, there are several home decorating firms in Scotland called 'Bonnie Tiler'.
