Supermarket giant Aldi is being praised for its attitude towards thanking staff for all of their hard work this year.
Instead of just saying 'thank you', the supermarket has taken a proactive approach to rewarding its employees for working tirelessly throughout the pandemic by giving something which will really help make Christmas special - a Christmas bonus.
The supermarket's CEO, Giles Hurley, said: "This year has been a difficult one for so many and our colleagues have worked tirelessly to ensure the nation continues have access to high quality affordable food.
"This bonus is a gesture of our appreciation for our amazing Aldi colleagues who have shown incredible resilience and dedication throughout 2020."
The supermarket has said that staff will receive their bonus before Christmas day, and that over 35,000 people will qualify.
At least there's some Christmas cheer to be had this year.
