Aldi is extending opening hours at all its Irish stores in the run up to Christmas.
The positive news for shoppers comes as the retail giant also announced the return of its middle aisles and Specialbuy promotions.
The longer opening times will be in place most of its 145 locations, which will now open at 8am for Christmas week for the very first time.
Shops won't shut until 11pm on certain days, although this will vary for smaller outlets, so make sure to check your local Aldi for specific details.
Product lines in middle aisles have been extended for the return of Aldi Specialbuys, which were forced to shut when non-essential retail was closed for the second lockdown.
Leading up to the festive season, new items will be added every Tuesday, as well as the usual Thursday and Sunday drops in stores.

"We are extending our opening hours this Christmas to make sure more shoppers can avail of our unbeatable range and prices and safely pick up everything they need.
“The vast majority of our stores will be open from 8am-11pm during Christmas week to spread the demand and allow customers shop when suits them best.
"Our stores will be fully stocked with daily deliveries, often multiple times a day, with all of our award-wining products so customers can rest assured they will find everything they need for a special Christmas at Aldi.”

Friday, December 18 - 9am to 10pm
Saturday, December 19 - 9am to 10pm
Sunday, December 20 - 8am to 10pm
Monday, December 21 - 8am to 11pm
Tuesday, December 22 - 8am to 11pm
Wednesday, December 23 - 8am to 11pm
Thursday, December 24 - 8am to 7pm.
