It differed from many other stores by staying closed on Boxing Day and Aldi has confirmed it will do the same again this week to give staff a day off on New Year's Day too.
The supermarket came in for a lot of praise for its decision to give employees a day off on Thursday, December 26 and not just from staff either!
After being shut on both Christmas Day and Boxing Day, Aldi resumed normal trading hours on December 27 but there will be another difference in opening times this week.
