Aldi makes big Specialbuys change to make life easier for shoppers

Loyal Aldi shoppers will know that a trip to the bargain supermarket is never really complete without picking up one of its Specialbuys leaflets on your way out.

While each leaflet may only be a few pages long, there’s something really satisfying about seeing what’s going to be on offer in the coming weeks.

But now the iconic brochure is changing, reports the MEN, and it will be a welcome change for shoppers who can’t visit the store in person - or they just don’t fancy queuing in the dreary weather.

Aldi has announced that for the first time ever, its Specialbuys brochures will be available online in digital format, so shoppers can keep up to date from the comfort of their homes.

Many items are now available to order online, so you can browse at your leisure, but remember, if you spot something you want to go and find in-store, only do it as part of an essential shop.

The news comes after Aldi issued an apology to customers after removing some Specialbuys from stores due to the coronavirus pandemic and the ongoing strain it is putting on many supermarkets.

You can find the Specialbuys leaflet live on Aldi’s website now.
