Now we're in December, we can officially start using the excuse 'it's Christmas!' and indulge in glorious food.
Supermarkets across the UK have released their festive treats ready for the big day, the run up and the snacking in between.
However, some new items that have hit the shelves have certainly raised an eyebrow with shoppers.

A trending theme this year is the mixing of tastes and we're not sure how to feel about it just yet.
From snacks to mains for Christmas day, these new items from Aldi, Marks and Spencer, Heinz and Lidl, would certainly be a talking point at the dinner table.
Aldi
In the budget supermarket Aldi, they have released a range of cheese and cheese board, perfect for when you have friends round.
But this is no ordinary cheese.
Aldi have released a selection of cheese with flavours inspired by British favourites and alcoholic beverages.
They include truckles of Caramelised Onion & Rioja Mature Cheddar – the perfect combination of cheese and wine – an aromatic Rosemary & Truffle Flavour Mature Cheddar and a Jamaican-inspired Spiced Honey & Rum Yorkshire Wensleydale.
And their Aldi Speciality cheese (£2.19) also include their booziest Espresso Martini Wensleydale and Bombay Spice and Mango Chutney Red Leicester.

Marks and Spencer
Marks and Spencer was accused of 'daylight robbery' after dishing out mini beans on toast.
Packaged as 'posh beans on toast', the item is 10 bite size pieces of beans on brioche bread, finished with Barber’s mature cheddar cheese.
It is being sold for £5 in store now.
One shopper slammed the product and said :"I've never seen anything more unnecessary in my life than @marksandspencer selling 'posh' beans on toast for FIVE POUNDS."
Heinz
Now, this one is a limited edition and can only be tried through a competition but it had to be included on this list.
Heinz has released a Terry's Chocolate Orange and Mayonnaise spread.
You are reading that correctly. A blend of mayonnaise and chocolate orange is the latest release from the condiment giant that brings you Ketchup, Mayo, BBQ sauce.
Lucky winners can now try this concoction.
It comes after Heinz released their Christmas in a can, a full Christmas meal in a tin.

Lidl
Boasting 'Lidl in price' but 'not on flavour', Lidl have come out this year with an alternative Christmas Day roast.
While many enjoy turkey, other choose chicken or pork-Lidl have combined all the options and is offering customers a 'Two Bird Bauble'.
The Deluxe British Ultimate Two-Bird Christmas Bauble is 1.4kg and is made up of turkey and chicken and filled with a pork, cranberry and parsnip stuffing.
This type of centre piece is apparently known Turducken and is popular in America where they deep fry turkey and duck together.
Priced at £11.99, the Deluxe Two-Bird Christmas Bauble is British-sourced and Red Tractor certified.
