Aldi launches traditional Burns Night supper box for two on a budget

Retailers across the country are gearing up for next week's Burns Night and Aldi has launched the perfect item for anyone looking to serve up a traditional feast from home.

The budget supermarket has recently launched the Special Scottish Burns Box for two which includes everything you need for the perfect supper to celebrate Robert Burns.

The McIntosh of Strathmore Burns Box comes complete with everything you need to make the bard happy, including a helping of deliciously hearty haggis and a tray of creamy mashed tatties, accompanied with a side of traditional mashed neeps.

Shoppers will also be able to find a mouth-watering whisky sauce to accompany their traditional Burns supper.

In even better news, the Scottish Burns box is retailed at the budget price of just £3.79.

The budget priced supper box is officially available in Aldi stores for shoppers to pick up before Burns Night officially lands next Tuesday.

And no Burns supper is complete without a dram to toast with friends or family.

That's why the supermarket has said that shoppers might want to grab the Highland Earl Blended Scotch Whisky Special Reserve to go alongside their dinner.

Aldi has described the tipple as being "delicious served straight or as part of a classic cocktail for a truly authentic Scottish inspired evening!"

It comes after the discounted supermarket recently unveiled their massive Burns Night range for this year with prices as low as just 99p.

The new Burns Night range features traditional and unique Burns supper items, including the Iron Brew Pakora and Curried Haggis Bites

Aldi's full Burns Night range arrived in all 102 Scottish stores on January 13.

The McIntosh of Strathmore Burns Box is available in-stores across Scotland now.
