Aldi launches shimmery honeycomb flavoured gin and it sounds delicious

Calling all gin fans, are you looking for a new tipple to delight and please your guests with? Well look no further than Aldi’s new gin that shimmers gold when you give it a shake.

As bittersweet gins continue to emerge in the market, Aldi has taken to the trend and launched a variety of new flavours to its range, including the latest addition - the new honeycomb flavour by Haysmith’s. It has been combined with juniper botanicals that’s you’ll typically find in gin but now, with a gorgeous sweet taste too.

The 70cl bottle is priced at £14.99 and available now from Aldi’s website and in stores. To find your nearest Aldi, we’ve popped the store locator here for you. You’ll also find opening and closing time information listed there as well.

Aldi describes the gin as an ‘The elegantly smooth and complex taste experienced when sipping Haysmith's Honeycomb flavour Gin has rich honeycomb intertwined flavours with juniper botanicals. A delicious gin that’s sweet and delicate on the palate, with a smooth long-lasting finish.’ To compliment it, you can enjoy this stunning gin over ice or mixed with some soda water.

As for calorie content, you’ll be happy to know that it only has 79 calories per 25ml shot - not too shabby, right?

We think this new flavour is perfect to toast the end of summer or save it for Christmas and create those Instaworthy cocktails.

Don’t live near an Aldi or fancy something a little different? Well there are plenty of other impressive gins on the market.

Warner’s have the Honeybee Gin, priced at £38 for a 70cl bottle. Crafted with 28 botanicals; lavender, rose, honey from our hives and a healthy dose of sunshine. Warners have partnered with the Royal Horticultural Society to protect the pollinators.

Just serve with a splash of Mediterranean tonic water, a slice of lemon or sprig of sage and enjoy at sunset with loved ones.

Or what about Keepr’s Honey Gin from Masters of Malt. Priced at £35.75, it has blended elements of London dry gin with a hearty helping of raw honey. Keepr's Honey Gin from The British Honey Company is a marvellous lip-smacking tipple. A piece of buttered toast might make for a smashing garnish with this and dip it into baked cheese and a drizzle of honey to serve.

Aldi recently launched 13 new spirits including an Aperol-style gin liqueur from £9.99. The supermarket has upped its spirits game with a brand new range of flavoured vodka, fruity and glittery gin as well as a Raspberry Mojito Rum.

Sticking with the fruity theme, Kopparberg are launching new dark fruit spice rum - perfect for summer. Looking for a new tipple to celebrate the end of summer with friends and family? Well Koppaberg may just have what you've been looking for.

And for those who want to try a new non-alcoholic drink, Fever Tree have launched three new flavoured soda waters which are perfect to accompany your favourite spirit or on their own. Priced at just £1.80 each, you can look forward to flavours like Raspberry & Rose Soda, Mexican Lime Soda and Italian Blood Orange Soda.
