Aldi launches new ride on fire engines for kids and they're under £40

With Christmas coming up, you might be wondering what to get the kids this year.

Along with getting Christmas dinner prepped, it is soon time to start collecting presents and hiding them where little hands can't reach.

The budget supermarket Aldi has now launched new toys and will be coming to the middle aisle as part of their Special Buy range.

At just £34.99, it is just the ticket for the wannabe police officers and firefighters.

The Mirror reports that the ride on bikes, which are pedal operated, feature working headlights and realistic sound effects, with a top speed of 3 kilometres per hour.

Kids can choose between three types- a fire engine, police bike and an ambulance.

But for such a fun toy and with Christmas round the corner, we reckon you best be quick.

The bikes are part of Aldi's Specialbuys range and are only being sold online - so you won’t be able to find them in your nearest Aldi store.

You can get the toy posted straight to your door, but standard delivery is free on orders about £30 - so with these bikes you’re in luck.

Next day delivery, or named day delivery will cost you £3.95, but seeing as Aldi isn’t planning to dispatch these until November 7, we’d suggest saving your pennies.

Best of all? The bikes come with a rechargeable battery - so you won’t have to keep buying new ones to keep it running.

Aldi’s website states the bikes are for ages 2+ with adult supervision required at all times.

There's also the Little Town Wooden Balance Bike available online that have been praised by mums as 'brilliant'.

If you're looking for other ways to entertain the kids' this Christmas, last month, Aldi launched its online toy shop, which features 185 products to choose from.

It means parents have the perfect chance to get a head start on their Christmas shopping. However, supply chain issues has caused delays to more than 60 Specialbuy items, including the supermarkets impressive range of wooden toys.
