Aldi launches its own McDonald’s inspired loaded cheeseburger fries

Inspiration comes from the Golden Arches in Aldi ’s latest creation. The supermarket has launched brand-new cheeseburger fries which are sure to be popular with fans of tasty takeaways.

Aldi ’s new Carlos Cheeseburger Fries are a delicious mash-up between fries and a cheeseburger. Imagine throwing your cheeseburger and fries into a bag, giving it a good shake then diving into the bag filled with delicious morsels.

Of course Aldi have made the experience of eating loaded fries a little bit more neater. A layer of crispy fries is the moreish bed loaded with generous toppings that’s sure to be finger lickin’ good.

The crispy potato fries are topped with succulent mini beef burgers and tangy gherkins smothered in creamy cheese and decadent burger sauce. Not only does it taste like you’re at the Golden Arches, the food will be served piping hot when you serve it straight from your oven.

What exactly are loaded fries?

Loaded fries or dirty fries are the same. Hot fries are piled high with a range of toppings, the usual ingredients being meat and loads of cheese. Other ingredients might include pickles, sour cream, fried onions and anything you can get your hands on that you think would taste good with fries.

Loaded fries is a popular concept that is said to have emerged from the States and is now widely loved across the world.

Instagram has over 243,000 hashtags with #LoadedFries, whilst Google Trends saw ‘Nandos Loaded Fries’ as the second most popular search term in a 30 day period.

The versatility of Aldi ’s cheeseburger fries means they can be enjoyed as a side or doubled up as a main while watching Saturday night telly.

Save time and money with this tasty dish. There’s no cooking or tedious chopping involved, just sling the fries in the oven and spend time hanging out with friends instead of slaving away in the kitchen. You also save your precious pennies, as the dish costs just £2.19 for 400g.

How about planning a takeaway night that will ensure piping hot food at a fraction of the cost?

Create the ultimate feast by adding Aldi ’s Carlos Takeaway Double Pepperoni Pizza (£1.69, 511g), Carlos Stonebaked Doughballs (£1.35, 180g) and Carlos Takeaway Chewy & Gooey Cookies (£1.69, 160g) to your basket.
