Aldi has launched a new Specialbuys range of kitchenware to help families across the country celebrate Pancake Day on February 16 this year.
Shoppers will be able to stock up on everything from pancake mix to cooking pans in order to help make Shrove Tuesday a fun and tasty occasion for everyone of all ages.
The highlight of the collection is the Pancake Pan Assortment which cost £7.99 each and are all dishwasher safe with a non-stick coated bottom to make the clean-up easy.
The range includes a Waffle Pan, a Mini Pancake Pan, a funky Animal Pan, a large pancake/crepe pan and a Smiley Face Pancake Pan.

The Smiley Face Pancake Pan is a seasonal favourite and has sold out twice over the last two years, soon after going on sale.
Customers have given it a 4.5 out of 5 star rating on the Aldi website with one happy reviewer writing: “Me and the kiddies love this pan! Easy to use and get the right size of pancake (my freestyle ones were always odd shapes!) And the smiley faces are a fun addition. I found no problem in turning them as I have a small plastic spatula, which worked perfectly! No sticking and very easy to clean too!”
Another commented: “My son loved his smiley face pancakes. You do need to watch them and not use on a high heat as it heats up super fast. Can be a little fiddly to flip the pancakes over but overall good fun and will use again.”
And a third added: “Kids love the smiley faces, tricky to turn them over but once you get used to it, it’s easy. best purchase.”

Along with the cooking items, Aldi is also selling easy-to-make Traditional Pancake Mix (89p), which can be paired with a drizzle of Maple Syrup (99p), or covered with a delicious layer of spreadable Peanut Butter (£1.99) or Cadbury’s Chocolate Spread (£1.99).
For extra flavour, pour Aldi’s easy Squeezy Honey (£2.49) and add a little sprinkle of Flavoured Sugar (99p).
If pancakes aren’t your thing, but you fancy celebrating the day with some homemade treats, Aldi has the perfect product for you.
The budget supermarket is selling a Churro Maker for less than £15.

Made by Ambiano, the machine is said to be a healthier way to make churros as it allows you to bake the sweet treats instead of frying them.
Aldi’s Churro Maker is priced at £14.99 and features space to make four churros at one time and has an automatic temperature control and non-stick plates, so cleaning up afterwards will be a dawdle.
The Churro Maker comes with a handy piping bag which will make it easier when it comes to creating the distinctive shape.
There’s also an indicator light that will help let you know once they are ready - ensuring a perfect, golden hue every time.
All that’s left to do is toss them in some sugar and cinnamon until coated.
