As we await the news of how we’ll be spending Easter this year, one thing we can get excited about is Aldi’s festive desserts. The discounted supermarket has created some quirky Easter puddings - ready for the 4th April weekend. Aldi’s luxurious range includes sweet treat delights perfect for Instagram, such as Oozy Egg Trifle, Egg-cellent Chocolate Eggs and Mini Viennese Ice-cream bars.
Some of Aldi’s delights will be launching as early as 8th March and starting from just £1.99. So set the date in your diary now to avoid any disappointment.

Forget creme eggs, this Easter it’s all about Aldi’s Specially Selected Egg-cellent Chocolate Eggs, priced at £2.99.. You get a pack of four rich chocolate egg shells filled with a white chocolate mouse and passionfruit compote. This is the perfect sweet treat dessert this Easter - and will be available in store from 1st April.
Get ready to take a step back in time this Easter, as the supermarket launches Mini Viennese Ice Cream Bars (£1.49, 57ml, 5 pack) – basically nostalgia on a stick. These delicious ice creams come in three flavours; indulgent vanilla, classic mint and sweet strawberry, all served with decadent layers of chocolate. They are available from 8th March so start clearing out your freezer now.
Aldi’s Oozy Egg Trifle (£1.99, 500g) is not something to be missed this year. This delicious pudding contains all the chocolatey goodness of a traditional chocolate trifle with a sweet Easter twist. Packed with layers of rich chocolate mousse, creamy chocolate custard and smooth cream, the trifle is topped with a sweet oozy egg fondant. It serves four and available in store from 29th March.
No dessert table is complete without a cheesecake and the Aldi Easter Cheesecake (£2.99, 500g) is a classic dessert with a difference - and one that you'll want to show off on Instagram. This pleasing pudding pairs rich vanilla cheesecake with a crumbly biscuit base, and available in stores 1st April.
Or for those that prefer a no frills option with a simply delicious taste, Aldi’s Hand-finished Specially Selected Cheesecake (£2.99, 560g/539g) is a delicately decorated cheesecake that shoppers can’t go wrong with – choose from either Belgian Chocolate or Lemon and Mascarpone. This delicious treat is available in stores now.
