Aldi launch oozy egg trifle in time for Easter and it looks delicious

Supermarket chain Aldi has launched an egg trifle dessert for Easter – and it looks egg-cellent.

The indulgent pudding is made up of several layers: creamy milk chocolate mousse, chocolate sponge, fresh cream and a fondant topping.

It has been billed as "a perfect choice for the whole family" and is available in store from April 6th for a bargain price of £1.99.

The choc-tastic treat is aptly named "Oozy Egg Trifle" - we can already tell it's going to be amazing.

Describing the dessert, Aldi said: "this indulgent pudding is made egg-stra special with a perfectly placed fondant topping."

It comes after the chain launched some gigantic Easter eggs for £14.99 each.

The three premium quality eggs each weigh in 800g of chocolate goodness - the perfect gift for any chocoaholics out there.

If you're after more chocolatey puddings, Aldi also sells a selection of "Family Italian Desserts" in store - including  cream-filled profiteroles and a luxury coffee and sponge tiramisu (yum).

Aldi has more than 830 stores in the UK. You can track down your nearest Aldi store by using the online store finder tool here.
