Aldi launch massive toy event tomorrow - but you can pre-order online now

Budget chain Aldi is bringing back its popular toy event - perfectly timed for bargain-hunters doing their Christmas shopping .

All the wooden toy items will officially go on sale tomorrow in stores nationwide, but as with all Aldi Specialbuys, once they are gone, that's it.

However, eager customers can pre-order items online now at aldi.co.uk to avoid disappointment.

This year sees popular wooden toy items like the chain's play kitchen  return, alongside newer items like a Wooden Play Shop (£29.99) with built-in shelving and window, which also doubles up as a theatre.

Also new for 2019 is the Wooden Open Plan Dolls House (£69.99), which completely opens up to reveal a selection of rooms across two levels that will keep your kids occupied for hours.

Many of the of the larger wooden toy items offer huge savings in comparison to similar toys at rival retailers, with some items up to 60 per cent cheaper.

The adorable Wooden Ice Cream Emporium (59.99) is over half the price of Hape's almost identical Ice Cream Emporium which costs £142 on Amazon - that's a total saving of £82.

Another bargain is the chain's cute Unicorn Ride-On (£129.99). A similar one from Smyths Toys will set parents back £149.99, so shoppers can save an extra £20 off opting for Aldi's version.

There's also an extensive collection of smaller, stocking filler toys on offer too, with prices ranging from £5 for sticker and activity books to £16.99 for Dumbo and Hungry Caterpillar soft toys.
