Aldi has launched a new range of cast-iron cookware in time for autumn and we have a feeling everyone is going to want it.
If you want something similar to the items from Le Creuset but at a lower price, then Aldi's latest collection is for you.
The budget supermarket's chic cast-iron pans are strikingly similar to the far more pricier Le Creuset options, but cost only a small fraction of the price.
Shoppers will be able to pre-order the new range online from September 6th and from September 10th. We'd suggest getting in there fast though, as Aldi's previous cookware collections have sold out incredibly fast online and in stores.
According to Aldi, its cookware range comes to a total of £88, while the same items from the designer brand would set you back over £700 more.
For example, the Aldi range includes a 26cm cast-iron casserole dish and a 30cm shallow casserole dish, which are both priced at £24.99. Meanwhile, similar items from Le Creuset (available at Amazon ) would set you back around £210 each.
There are also two stoneware mugs for £3.99, while one mug at Le Creuset will set you back £15.
Everything is suitable for use on gas, electric, induction and other heat sources, plus the dishes can even withstand oven temperatures up to 250C.
The latest Aldi cookware range will be available in two stylish new colourways: plum ombre and matte black as well as the classic grey ombre.
It will also include a new colour coordinating selection of wooden and silicone utensils, with prices starting from just £1.99.
