Aldi issues statement on why certain Specialbuy ranges are unavailable in store

Aldi is well known for bringing out limited edition ranges in stores.

Popularly known as Specialbuys, the items range from garden furniture, to bike accessories, as well as workout equipment.

What's more, the collections change with the seasons - at the moment there are plenty of outdoor activity sets and gardening items on sale.

The ranges tend to sell out quickly, as they're priced fairly well and are only available while stocks last.

However, some shoppers may have noticed that not all of the Specialbuys ranges are being sold in stores.

Aldi has issued a statement on its website addressing the shortage.

"You may have noticed that not all our advertised Specialbuys have been available to purchase in store due to current events.

"We're pleased to be able to tell you that many of these are still available to purchase online, while stocks last," the statement reads.

The in-store shortage is possibly a knock-on effect of the coronavirus pandemic.

Shoppers can currently buy garden furniture, electricals and DIY tools online.
