Aldi issues apology to shoppers over 40 of its products

Supermarket giant Aldi has issued an apology to shoppers for over 40 of its SpecialBuy products.

The retailer posted a notice on its website after some products were not available as advertised.

Products that were due to go on sale over the weekend, are now not expected until early to late February, reports the ECHO.

The notice read: "Unfortunately some Specialbuys may not be available as advertised. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and hope that these products will be available in store and online very shortly."

Aldi listed the dates the SpecialBuys had been due to go on sale, and the dates they are now expected to be available to shoppers. You can view the full list here.
