Aldi issues 6-day notice to all Christmas shoppers in the country

Supermarket giant Aldi has issued a 6-day warning to all shoppers in the UK. As Christmas fast approaches, the retailer is gearing itself up for the festive period.

With big names like Lidl, ASDA, Tesco, and John Lewis having already released their Christmas adverts, shoppers are excited about Aldi's offering for 2022. Of course, Kevin the Carrot will be returning this year.

Now Aldi has announced when Kevin the Carrot toys will be available in supermarkets. Each year shoppers rush in their thousands to get their hands on the plush toys.

In recent years, Aldi's Kevin the Carrot range has proven so popular it's sold out quickly, with people queueing up from the early hours to get one. In six days, Kevin and his family and friends will feature in a new plush toy range in Aldi supermarkets, with prices starting from £2.99.

There will also be a selection of football themed plushes, in a nod to the Aldi Christmas teaser, which paid homage to the iconic 1998 Nike World Cup advert. But shoppers who want to get their hands on the range will have to be quick, as with all Specialbuys – once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Kevin the carrot toys have proven extremely popular in recent years and it's likely demand will be high once again. The plush toys will be available to buy online and in stores from November 17.

This year's Aldi Christmas advert shows Kevin the Carrot being reunited with his family, Katie, Jasper, Chantenay and Baby, after missing a flight to go holiday with them in Paris. The new range will allow shoppers to make sure they're sticking together this Christmas by picking up Kevin or Katie plush toys for just £3.99, as well as Jasper, Chantenay and Baby (the collection of carrot kids) for £3.99.

There will also be a bundle option available to buy Katie and the kids for just £7.95, but the offer will only be available online. This year, the entire carrot family, Kevin, Katie & Kids can even be bought as Squishees for £6.99 each.

And that’s not all - football fans will be pleased to know that a new range of football-themed plushes will also hit the shelves at Aldi. The range pays homage to the iconic 1998 Nike World Cup Advert, as seen in the supermarket’s Christmas ad teaser.

It will feature some new faces including MmmBap, Marrowdonna, Roy Bean, Ronaldi and Messy, all available in plush form for £3.99 each. A bundle of the football stars will also be available to buy in a bundle online for £15.95.

And for anyone who wants an even larger collection, the plush range will feature Kevin’s buddies, Mouse and Tortoise, selling for £3.99 each, or as a bundle for £11.95. Aldi has gone all-out this year with an extended range of Kevin goodies - including Tree Plush Decorations for £2.99, available in a selection of the popular characters, as well as Kevin Christmas Pyjamas for £6.99, (ages 1-12).

Aldi’s limited-edition Kevin the Carrot range will be available to buy in-stores and online from 17th November.
