After the decadence of December, many people are trying to save their pennies in January and hunt for supermarket bargains during their weekly shop.
Starting today (16 January), Aldi is selling extra large meat bundles as part of its "super weekly offers".
According to the Daily Star , the offer is being described as "mega meat for mega value" and will apply to XXL packs of chicken or rump steaks.
The steak bundle will include a 900g four pack of Aldi's 21 Day Matured Rump Steak for just £7.49.
The steaks are described as "melt in the mouth" and would be perfect alongside some chips or even as a steak sandwich.
The steaks are quick and easy to cook up and can be grilled or shallow fried to your liking.
If red meat isn't for you, Aldi is also selling 2kg of chicken breast fillets for just £7.99.
It's possible to make a variety of meals using chicken, which can be put in curries, sandwiches, pasta dishes and many others.
The bargain-priced chicken is perfect for families on a budget as some of it can be frozen and used at a later date.
Keep your eyes peeled, as this won't be the only offer coming out of Aldi.
The budget supermarket has announced that it will be releasing two new deals every week - with the packs intended to “[feed] the whole (extended) family”.
