Parents who have missed listening to their kids singing along with the wildly infectious children's song 'Baby Shark' at mealtimes can now take breakfast to the next level.
Kellogg’s have launched Baby Shark cereal and parents keen to get their hands on a box have taken to social media after spotting it in Aldi.
The multigrain cereal features toffee flavoured fish shaped pieces made from rice, wholegrain, oats and maize - the ingredients are free from artificial flavours and colours, so there’s no need to worry about unhealthy additives.
Kellogg’s Baby Shark cereal comes in a 350g box and costs £1.99 in Aldi and £2 in Tesco - although shoppers in one popular Facebook group have only spotted it in Aldi so far after searching supermarket shelves for the new product.
One happy mum shared a picture of her find with members of the Extreme Couponing and Bargains Facebook group and wrote: “Finally found some in Aldi £1. 99 got 2 very happy boys shark doo doo mad lol.”
The post quickly racked up over 1,000 comments and hundreds of reactions.
One member tagged a friend with the caption: “omg! If you see this can you grab me one please, Esme would love this xx.”
While another replied: “It’s toffee flavour, I'm now a 29 year old kid that needs baby shark cereal.”
And another added: “They actually sound pretty nice. Might get myself some xx.”
So far, Kellogg’s Baby Shark cereal has only been spotted on shelves in Aldi and Tesco.
The South Korea-produced Baby Shark song has gone from the world of children's YouTube to a global viral sensation, with a catchy and addictive melody buoyed by a hypnotically colourful video.
'Baby Shark Dance', the English-language version of the song, has now racked up over eight billion views on YouTube.
