Budget retailer Aldi is releasing a homeware collection this week and one item looks practically identical to a designer brand.
The range is set to be released as a part of Aldi’s Specialbuys tomorrow, September 17.
Among the items in the range are Aldi’s Kirkton House Pink Velvet Ottoman, which features gold metal legs and has a 170L capacity.

The ottoman comes in at £79.99 and also comes in grey.
The velvet ottoman looks eerily similar to one made by Asare, which is available to order via Made.com .
The storage trunk from Asare features a very similar design to Aldi’s version, as it is pink in colour and comes with gold metal legs too.
Aldi’s product costs £79.99, while Asare’s version comes in at £249.
Though the Asare ottoman is around 40cm longer than the Kirkton House product, shoppers could save around £170 by purchasing the cheaper option.

The budget retailer’s chair comes in at £79.99 while the designer option is on sale for £395.
