The German value supermarket has just released the first of its "Mega meat, mega value" deals, seeing XXL portions of chicken and steak hit the shelves for a remarkably reasonable amount.
"Feed the whole family, meal-prep, or freeze for later, this bigger and better value pack will save you time and money on your cooking," Aldi said.
The first offering has a 2kg pack of chicken breast fillets on sale for just £7.99 - that's cheaper per kilo than the nearest competitor we can find, although has a very similar deal for chicken breast fillets.
The second deal is for a 4-pack of 21-day aged steaks costing even less at £7.49.
Aldi described the four-pack of steak as "carefully aged for 21 days to give a full flavour, delight your dinner party with these melt-in-the mouth cuts of beef, the perfect pairing for wine and sumptuous sides".
And at that price, you're paying just £1.87 per 225g steak, or £8.32 a kilo, significantly cheaper than we've found elsewhere.
The better news for carnivores is that this is just the start of the mega meat deals.
"With two new offerings due to launch each week, the XXL packs will be BIG on size, and BIG on value - perfect for feeding the whole (extended) family, and then some," Aldi said in a statement.
The mega deals of British chicken and rump steaks are available from all UK Aldi stores from Thursday 16 January - as long as stocks last.
