Gin has been the trendy drink of choice for several years now and recently, gin that tastes nothing like gin has become a desirable thing.
Pink gin is nothing new but pink Parma Violet gin is very much flavour of the week and you cans core a bottle from Aldi for just £10.
OK it's more of a shimmering purple colour but if you drink enough of it you won't care what colour it is.
The German bargain retailer extraordinaire is introducing the drink as part of its ‘Infusionist’ range of liqueurs and will launch on 26 April.
The new shimmer infused gin will launch alongside The Infusionist Coconut & Vanilla Rum Liqueur – which offers creamy coconut flavours paired with aromatic vanilla – and The Infusionist Rhubarb, Pink Grapefruit & Black Pepper Gin Liqueur, which has sharp citrus notes and a hint of peppery spice.
The 50cl bottle will set you back just £9.99.
To give you some idea of how much you'll be saving, a similar 70cl Parma Violet gin from Whitley Neill will cost you £26.99 and an 50cl Imaginaria bottle will cost you over double.
This will likely be a hit as summer approaches and Aldi is already gearing up for the sun shine as it has also launched this hanging egg chair for over £700 cheaper than high-end equivalents.
