From oreos dipped in orange juice, popcorn with ketchup and mixing anything with peanut butter, after a few cocktails, suddenly the weirdest food combinations seem like the greatest creations.
But now Aldi has actually started selling one a crazy food hybrid of its own, with the launch of its new mojito pork sausages.
Made from succulent British pork and smoked bacon, the sausages then also have a unique blend of punchy white rum, mint, red chilli, lime zest and spices added to them for a bit of a kick.
Hitting Aldi stores nationwide from Thursday 4th July, a six-pack of the new Specially Selected Mojito Pork Sausages will set you back £1.89.
And the new addition to Aldi shelves comes at a good time, with temperatures set to soar to a whopping 30C over the next few weeks, meaning that it's prime BBQ weather.
Best served in a hot dog bun alongside a real mojito cocktail, Aldi also stocks Specially Selected Brioche Hot Dog Rolls (£1.05 for a six pack).
Elsewhere in supermarkets, we spotted Waitrose selling packs of cider and sage sausages for £3.09 , as well as own-brand ale sausages for £2.99.
Sadly, as the mojito flavoured sausages are a Special Buy, they will only be around while stocks last, so you'll need to be quick if you want to get your hands on them.
