Aldi is now selling a heated throw to keep you toasty warm as Edinburgh temperatures drop

It's that time of the year again - the temperatures are dropping, the dark nights are drawing in and gloves are essential.

So, it's great news that budget retailer Aldi are now selling a heated throw that promises to keep you toasty throughout the winter months.

The fluffy throws come in two colours, light grey and dark grey, and have a number of safety features to ensure that the product doesn't overheat.

Not only can you use the throw as a blanket to keep you snug when you're watching the TV but it can also be used to warm your bed, say Aldi.

The throw comes with a detachable controller so that you can adjust the settings higher or lower, depending on what temperature you find comfortable.

Basically, it's a must-have for naturally cold people living in Scotland - and those of us who don't want to pay to put the heating on...just yet.

The throw will set you back £34.99 but is cheaper than other similar throws on the market. John Lewis's heated throw costs £50, while one from Lakeland costs £49.99.
