Aldi is making a change to all of its UK stores from April 2021

Aldi is making a huge change to all of its UK stores next month as it partners with Camelot.

The bargain retailer has announced that it will be selling tickets for the National Lottery for the first time.

Shoppers at 900 Aldi stores in the UK will be able to pick up their Lottery tickets from April, reports BirminghamLive.

Customers will find the stalls near checkouts, giving them a chance to bag Thunderball, Lotto and Lotto HotPicks tickets.

Aldi shoppers will also be able to get Set for Life tickets, as well as Euromillions and Euromillions HotPicks.

Euromillions draws take place each Tuesday evening and Friday evening, with the Lotto draw on Wednesday nights and Saturday nights. Thunderball draws take place four times a week, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Richard Thornton, communications director at Aldi, said: “Customers will now be able to enter The National Lottery while doing their weekly Aldi shop.
