Aldi is making a big change to its SpecialBuys this month

Aldi has announced a big change to its popular SpecialBuys this month.

The budget retailer traditionally launches new SpecialBuys on Thursdays and Sundays across all of its supermarkets.

SpecialBuys cover everything from gardening products, DIY, electronics, toys and more - meaning you won't be shortchanged looking for something for Christmas, or if you want to treat yourself.

But for the first time ever, shoppers will be able to grab the latest items on Tuesdays this month, the Liverpool Echo reports.

The additional 'on sale' dates have been added throughout the Christmas period to provide shoppers with more chances to find presents for family and friends.

Despite the extra opportunity, shoppers have been urged to be quick because, as is typical with SpecialBuys, once they're gone they're gone for good.

Julie Ashfield, Managing Director of Buying at Aldi UK, said: “With the introduction of Tuesday Specialbuy dates this Christmas, we hope to give our customers even more opportunities to get their hands on the latest must-haves, with more ranges and products available for more days throughout December.”

The Tuesday SpecialBuy won't replace the other days, in fact, stocks will continue to be updated on Thursdays and Sundays throughout December.

The SpecialBuy dates will revert back to normal come January.
