With the recent hot weather, the shops are preparing themselves for the inevitable fan-purchasing panic. Aldi is getting ahead of the game by bringing back its impressive cooling contender for less than £40.
When it comes to the best way to cool a room down without AC, having a good fan is a fast way to dispel any discomfort in hot weather. Rival bladeless models can be expensive, making Aldi's sell-out fan an efficient, budget-friendly choice not to be missed.
Providing luxury-style products at affordable prices is what Aldi does best, and we couldn't be more excited to get our hands on this new Specialbuy to help keep cool this summer.
New in this week: Aldi bladeless fan
Launching this Thursday, June 5th, the Aldi bladeless fan is on sale with the impressive price tag of £39.99. It sadly won't be available online; it will only be available in stores, in the middle aisle.
RRP: £39.99 | The innovative design features 3 speed settings; High, Medium, Low. The 12-hour timer always complete control to set the fan to be used in fixed and oscillation functions across 3 user modes: Normal, Nature, Sleep. to add to the sleek modern design it features 7 colour LED lighting modes.
It's not just the price that's great, the fan also has several impressive features. With three different speed settings to choose from, you can have a cool low to a refreshing turbo speed, and there's nothing to worry about when it comes to sound – ideal for keeping a bedroom cool.
The fan is extremely quiet at 56 decibels, which means there'll be a minimal amount of white noise being emitted from the fan throughout the day, so it's ideal for home offices and bedrooms. *Because, like finding the best dehumidifier for a bedroom, noise levels are hugely important to helping you sleep in the heat.

If you've always struggled with how to clean a fan safely or place a bladed fan near your pets or small children, this model from Aldi can give you peace of mind.
With zero blades, the fan simply swivels left and right by 70° so it can hit all corners of your room without taking up too much space or being a potential hazard.
Similar to more expensive, high-end bladeless fans available right now (the Dyson Purifier Hot + Cool being our favourite, but it costs £600,) this one is extremely easy to control as it has a digital touchpad and a remote control. This makes it easy to use by anyone in your family and from anywhere in your room, ideal if you're using it to sleep and want to turn it off in the middle of the night.
Alternative Bladeless fans for every budget
"I love bladeless fans for so many reasons," says Laura Honey, w&h's Homes Ecommerce Editor. "Honestly, I was first drawn to mine for the sleek design (and because they’re way easier to clean). But they’re not just a pretty silhouette. They’re quieter, more energy-efficient, and create a much calmer vibe at home. Best of all, there are no exposed moving parts, so they’re a much safer option if you’ve got kids or pets running around."
Whether you can't make it to the store on the 5th or you're after something a little bigger, we've found some amazing alternatives to Aldi's bladeless fans. They're just not quite as affordable as Aldi, but who is?
There's nothing quite like the best, and Dyson is no doubt the leading brand for bladeless fans. Although pricier than the other models, it is powerful, quiet and remote-controlled.
RRP: £99.99 | With a wide-angle oscillation, this quiet fan is perfect for cooling down an entire room quickly. It's also extremely quiet and has a timer function and a sleep mode, ideal for use whilst sleeping.
RRP: £169.99 | Larger, this silent, standing portable design is a powerful cooling solution. With remote control, Hepa Filter, Led Display, 10 Fan Speeds, 5 Modes & 60° Oscillation, its credentials speak for themselves.
The sleek oval design is also one of our favourite features of the Aldi fan, it'll look perfectly in place in any Minimaluxe living room or as a barely visible addition to a conservatory.
The only way you can snap up the Aldi Specialbuy bladeless fan is to beat the traffic to the middle aisle. Whilst some of their Specialbuys do become available to purchase online, most are exclusively in-store and only available while stocks last.
