Supermarket chain Aldi is hiring - and there are a host of opportunities available in the North East.
Aldi was named Britain's favourite supermarket for the second time in 2019, and also triumphed at the customer-voted Good Housekeeping Food Awards and the Retail Week Awards.
The supermarket's market share rose by almost 15 per cent in the first quarter of the year, and applicants are being invited to join the company's growing success in the North East.
A store manager vacancy is listed in the North Tyneside area with a salary ranging from £45,565 to £59,420.
Assistant store manager vacancies are listed in the North Tyneside and South Tyneside areas, with salaries ranging from £31,770 to £38,745.
Deputy manager positions paying from £10.10 to £11.41 per hour are available at the following stores; McKendrick Villas in Newcastle, Westerhope, Chester-le-Street, Dragon Lane in Durham, and Hexham.
Applicants hoping to secure a role as a store assistant in the North East will have plenty of roles to choose from. With a wage ranging from £9.10 to £10.41, positions are available in a host of stores across County Durham, Gateshead, Newcastle, North Tyneside, and Northumberland.
There are also numerous vacancies for candidates looking to apply for the role of store management apprentice across the region, with the fixed term roles paying between £6.09 to £9.10 per hour.
Applicants with no previous qualifications can apply for a level 2 retailer apprenticeship which takes around 12-15 months to complete. Roles for "career starters" are available in Palmersville, Shiremoor, Blyth and Sunderland and pay a fixed rate of £6.09 per hour.
