Halloumi wrapped in bacon is the latest Christmas offering from discount supermarket giant, Aldi.
The festive season is set to see the cheesy treat rival pigs in blankets for space on many a dinner plate come December 25.
The supermarket's Yuletide innovation follows on from the success of its halloumi fries.
The bitesize snacks are part of Aldi's new festive range, writes MirrorOnline.
As an alternative to pigs in blankets, it sees the traditional sausage replaced with cheese and wrapped in a streak of bacon.
Aldi has confirmed they will hit the shops from December 5 and although the price has yet to be released, anyone hoping to get their hands on a few have been told to keep their eyes on the supermarket's Christmas page .
For those unwilling to break with long-standing traditions and wanting to stay loyal to the tried and tested pig in blanket, Aldi have you covered too.
Packs of the mini pork favourites are old news with a two metre long version also going on sale on December 5 - setting you back just £4.99.
To wash it all down you can grab a bottle of shimmery candy cane gin while you're there.
Flavoured with peppermint and hint of vanilla, it's bright red in colour and shimmers when you shake it, to give it a glittery appearance.
It's already out now, priced at £9.99, but there's very little chance it will last on our shelves until December.
