Aldi is bringing backs its most popular autumn Specialbuys product

Aldi’s collapsible heated airer is back just in time for the winter months as temperatures begin to drop and outdoor washing lines become a thing of the past.

Saving both time and effort, the compact airer is back online from September 26.

Shoppers will be able to buy it in stores from and again from October 14.

Priced at £29.99, it has 20 heated bars and has a cover designed to trap the hot air and make clothes dry quicker.

Aldi is predicting that the product will sell out quickly, and as with all Specialbuys there's limited stock available.

The supermarket has also introduced a new, larger airer in the pyramid Heated Airer (£89.99, online only).

Complete with a cover, this larger airer boasts a maximum load of 30kg, and with space for shoes, customers caught short in the rain needn’t worry, as the airer will have shoes toasty in no time.

Aldi is also releasing a Shirt and Trouser Iron (£59.99, online only) which uses hot air tension technology to both heat and smooth garments.

The device features a built-in timer, perfect for multitasking, and greatly reduces the hassle of ironing.

Ahead of the festive season, Aldi was recently named Christmas Retailer of the Year for the second year in a row.

More than 400 judges from the food industry tasted hundreds of products at the Quality Food and Drink Awards (QFA).

Products were rated on taste, flavour, texture, aroma, ingredients list, value for money, innovation, aims in the marketplace, presentation and packaging.

Julie Ashfield, Managing Director of Corporate Buying at Aldi, said: “We are delighted to have been named Christmas Retailer of the Year for the second year running.

"After last year, shoppers are looking forward to Christmas more than ever before. We can’t wait to share our festive food range, which is full of innovative, high quality products that will help customers take their celebrations to the next level and make Christmas amazing for everyone – all at a price they can afford.”
